QHSE Manager

Due to recent changes in our organization, we are now searching for a competent and skilled QHSE Manager to continue the journey of establishing and further develop our QHSE department with primary focus on quality in our production and incoming materials as well as maintaining focus on a safe work environment.

We are searching for a competent and skilled QHSE Manager to continue the journey of establishing and further develop our QHSE department with primary focus on quality in our production and incoming materials as well as maintaining focus on a safe work environment.

Your future tasks will include:

  • Be the primary driver together with the team in building, controlling, and developing quality processes and ensuring implementation in the organization (ISO 9001-2015 certified).
  • Update and develop quality procedures and policies according to internal and external requirements.
  • Facilitate the ongoing work building up and develop the QM module in SAP to be implemented in all BAADER sites.
  • Manage the Health & Safety organization on both Danish sites.
  • Collect and identify quality cost and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate a safe work environment and a good quality culture.
  • Management of the Environmental Management Organization.
  • Create test procedures in cooperation with Engineering and R&D.
  • Participate in the processing of claims and the subsequent internal follow-up.
  • ESG activities related to new reporting requirements.
  • Develop new and existing suppliers together with the Purchase department.
  • Ensure good supplier quality on existing suppliers.
  • Monthly report to the management team.
  • Responsible for Food Contact Material Self-control Program.
  • Develop the QHSE team so they can be able to support the requirements from the organization and external stakeholders.

Estimated number of travel days is approximately 20 – 30 days per year.

Your qualifications, experience and personal skills:

Most likely you hold a degree as Quality Engineer or Production Engineer, preferably with a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a similar position in a production company within the metal industry.

  • Candidates with a proven track record with implementation of quality procedures and cross-country work relation experience will be preferred.
  • A craft background is an advantage, as this position requires, in addition to the quality work, a relatively deep technical understanding.
  • It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of electrical components and a good understanding of drawings.
  • You are an experienced user of IT systems and especially SAP.
  • You have a very good understanding of the QM module in SAP.
  • You are fluent in Danish and English both in writing and speech.
  • You are a trained and certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001-2015).
  • Knowledge in handling of food contact materials.
  • PPAP knowledge.
